NSUN Business Meeting (Network Meeting September 2024)

Thursday 19th September 2024, 4.00-5.30pm latest

Join us for a meeting to hear about NSUN’s work over the past year. This event will include:

  • A chance to meet members of the NSUN Board
  • A presentation of NSUN’s key areas of work in 2023/24 by members of the staff team, focussing on communications and membership, communities and grants, policy, and the work of our hosted project Synergi
  • An overview of the financial statements for the year ended 31st March 2024

The presentations will be followed by a chance to ask any questions you may have. The meeting will be chaired by Aimz Rushton (they/them), NSUN’s Chair.

Information about this meeting

Please note that this is not an Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members vote on various motions. This took place in person in July 2024 and members will have received voting information over email. We are holding this meeting as we know that in person meetings are inaccessible to many of our membership, so wanted to give members who prefer online events and were not able to attend the AGM the chance to hear about our work and meet the team.

This meeting is taking place in our usual monthly Network Meeting slot for September, and will run from 4pm until 5.30pm at the latest, to allow time for questions, but the meeting may end earlier than that. The next themed Network Meeting will take place in October as usual.

There is likely to be a PowerPoint presentation shared during the session, so please leave a note in your registration form in the accessibility section if you would like to request a copy of these ahead of the session.

This session will not be recorded.

Please check your availability before registering, and email us at info@nsun.org.uk if you can no longer attend.

You will need to be an NSUN member to get your joining link – please sign up here if you are not already a member.

NSUN’s Conduct Agreement

We want virtual NSUN spaces to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive. Harassment, hate speech, and inappropriate behaviour of any kind, verbal or in the chat/Q&A, will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to immediately remove any attendee we consider to be in breach of this conduct agreement. This includes anyone making racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory, offensive, or hateful remarks.

Removed participants will not be able to re-join the session, or, if applicable, join any of the rest of the sessions in a day or series of events. In order to avoid the derailing of sessions we will not enter into conversations around why conduct was deemed inappropriate in the sessions themselves.

Late admittance

Please note that to avoid disruption or distraction, we will be unable to admit latecomers (anyone who arrives ten minutes after the event’s start time).
