Save the date
We are excited to announce that NSUN’s annual Members’ Event will be taking place on Wednesday the 29th of November 2023. The Members’ Event sessions are a chance to get together with others in the mental health lived experience space: stay tuned for updates on the day’s activities, coming very soon.
Please note that this year the AGM (Annual General Meeting, the formal business meeting where members vote on motions) will be held separately from the Members’ Event, most likely in Spring 2024, though there will be a session at the Members’ Event where you can meet the trustees and hear updates on NSUN’s work over the past year. Members will receive information via email about the AGM once a date is confirmed.
Digital Creative Exhibition
Each year we celebrate the creative work of NSUN members by putting together a ‘virtual exhibition’ of paintings, poems, drawings and much more. You can take a look at last year’s fantastic selection of work here.
We will once again be platforming the creative work of individuals and groups with lived experience of mental ill-health, distress and trauma in this year’s Members’ Event on Wednesday 29 November 2023, and we’d love to hear from you! If you have some work you’d like to include, big or small, one piece or a few, please send it to gabrielle.johnson@nsun.org.uk along with the name you’d like to appear alongside the work, a short bio and any links to your website or social media channels.
Creative work could included (but is not limited to!):
- Artwork: pictures of your paintings, photography, prints, embroidery, drawings, collage, digital/visual art
- Short films or animations
- Poetry: written, or you can film/record yourself doing a reading
- Original songs or music
