AGM & Members’ Event overview
The AGM & Members Event will begin with an opening keynote talk from Rai Waddingham on ‘Mad Knowledge as an Act of Resistance’ before the AGM Business Meeting where members’ voting results on formal matters will be presented and there will be a Q&A.
Over the two days, there is a mix of panels and discussion sessions, including a focus on topics such as “lived experience leadership” (with Tamar Jeynes, Stan Papoulia and Bethan Edwards), “care as resistance” (with Sabah Choudrey, Shon Faye, and Harry Josephine Giles), a panel discussion with the Survivor Researcher Network, and much more.
The event will finish with a closing keynote talk from Farzana Khan on the role of transformative justice in democratising our health provisions, and what liberation-centred health could look like.
